Marvel Studios launches a new team, the Guardians of the galaxy! It broadens the Marvel universe to the depths of the cosmos, where the adventurer Peter Quill wakes up the target of a dangerous chase after stealing a globe with mysterious powers. Trying to outmaneuver Ronan, a villain that threatens the fate of the entire universe makes Peter to form an invincible team Drax the Destroyer, Gamora the deadliest, with Groot, a humanoid-shaped tree, and Rocket Raccoon. But when Peter discovers the true power of the world and the potential threat they pose to the galaxy it is clear that is a life and death struggle to save the world as we know it.

1. Brash space adventurer Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) finds himself the quarry of relentless bounty hunters after he steals an orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain. To evade Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with four disparate misfits: gun-toting Rocket Raccoon, treelike-humanoid Groot, enigmatic Gamora, and vengeance-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when he discovers the orb's true power and the cosmic threat it poses, Quill must rally his ragtag group to save the universe.
